Serve

Do you have experience in art or graphic design? Are you interested in putting these talents to use? Then get involved with the Graphic Design Ministry here at FCC. We’re always looking for talented, creative people who can come up with creative ways to get the message across.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred, but not required. Sometimes just a pencil and paper is all it takes to come up with the basis for a good logo, word mark, or poster, so if you’re looking to get involved in graphic design, you came to the right place!

Drama & Dance
The purpose of FCC’s Drama Ministry is to enhance the artistic level and emotional impact of the weekend services, as well as other ministries, through the use of brief character sketches that create a high degree of audience identification. The ministry also purposes to build a community of artists in order to provide dramatic training and the opportunity to refine the gifts that God has given them.
Check out one of our workshops for a chance to preview our rehearsals and/or participate in dramatic exercises and improvisational skits. We’re looking for people who exhibit a natural ability to think on their feet, good voice projection, energy, poise, range of emotion, humor, sincerity, and who are able to take direction. Generally, no or close to no dramatic talent experience is needed.

Do you enjoy listening to music? Have you always wanted to run a sound board in a live setting? We’re looking to expand our team of sound technicians for our weekend services.
The impact of music, videos, and teaching in our services is made possible by the team of talented volunteers who operate the sound system! We’re looking for people who have an ear for sound and want to mix music in a live setting. No experience is necessary, just a natural ear for music. Training is provided and we operate on a rotating schedule.
During the worship rehearsal for FCC’s Worship Band, check out the Sound Booth and state-of-the-art equipment that is used to run the sound for FCC’s services. Find out how you can become a part of this team! Email David Kong if you’re interested.

Sunday Experience Teams
The Sunday Experience team is on mission to build this house; by welcoming, loving, and serving each person who come through our doors.
Are you an energetic, outgoing person who loves to shake hands and smile? Then you are exactly what we’re looking for when it comes to our First Impressions Ministry!
Many times, our “greeters” at the door are the very first impression visitors have of our church. It is very important to us that the First Impressions Ministry reflect the vision of FCC: a place where everyone is welcome and people are treated like family. Guests at our church should feel valued, the way Christ values His children, and this starts when they walk through the door.
In this ministry, you’ll serve at one of our entrance doors to welcome people arriving for a weekend service. A smile and a warm greeting is a great way to start the day!
Sunday mornings – serve for one service!
Meet at the Connect Counter in FCC’s Lobby 15 minutes before the service starts
Email Pastor Matthew to get involved or for more information.

Our team provides media tech support for Sunday Services. We use presentation software to display song lyrics, play videos, and show other graphics on projector screens. Video cameras and lighting equipment are also used during the Service. Team members utilize their skills and the equipment to provide a meaningful worship experience where people can grow in their relationship with God.
Teams start at 8:15am on rotating Sundays. If you are interested in any of these areas and are willing to be trained, please email: Mike Jones for video/graphics display and/or Mackenzie Domingos for lighting operations.

The heart beat of the FCC Worship Team is to create an atmosphere for people to be able to encounter the presence of our Heavenly Father. When you first walk through the doors of Family Community Church, that heart beat is expressed through the sound that being created through the music. Our worship teams love giving God back the very gifts that He has given us. We want to celebrate the goodness of God through music, and we have a great time doing it. We invite you to join us during our weekend services.
